“Harnessing the knowledge of expatriates for national development”

The National Science foundation (Under the purview of the Ministry of Technology & Research) in Collaboration with UNESCO is organizing a Global forum of Scientists of Sri Lankan origin. This forum is scheduled to take place from the 13-15 of December 2011 in Colombo and shall play a crucial role in the formulation of a national strategy for collaborating with expatriates from the fields of research, conservation, capacity building and sustainable economic development in the country.
