Public Day for Expatriate Sri Lankan Community at the Sri Lanka Mission PDF Print E-mail

With a view to facilitating further ties with the expatriate Sri Lankan community, the Sri Lanka Consulate and the Sri Lanka Mission to the UN will hold a Public Day on Wednesday each week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Members of the expatriate community could meet the Permanent Representative to the UN or the Deputy Permanent Representative without prior appointment on this day.

This initiative is being launched as a part of the implementation of the “Mahinda Chintana”, to facilitate the furtherance of political, economic, and cultural links between Sri Lanka and the US (tri-state area), and to enhance ties between Sri Lanka and the expatriate Sri Lankan community to promote Sri Lanka’s interests overseas.

Any issue in this context can be discussed at these meetings.
